Rural beauty

This is the view I see thrice daily, each time I head home from my mother's bungalow. Today, the light was so intense and the colours so vivid that I knew it had to be my blip. I love lanes, and five-bar gates, and big skies, and this view has the lot.

Thanks for comments on yesterday's blip. I wondered if anyone would notice something different about this latest addition to my chessmen's adventures: it's the first picture where I've superimposed a chess piece on to a real-life background. All the previous ones have involved stage-setting the pieces in a miniature world with tiny toys and dolls' house props! So, two-thirds of the way through October, I'm still having huge fun with my January birthday prezzie of Photoshop! Yay!
