The Dormer Project

Not done yet - that's right!

The dormer project continues - slow going because of working and daily life and living with an auto-immune issue that sometimes leaves me very fatigued (it's called Burning Mouth Syndrome if you really need to know - think of having a sore throat every day month after month with areas of the mouth that feel burned and parts of the back of the tongue that explode like popcorn with certain triggers - long story as to where it came from and what to do with it - just not fun - trust me on that)

So my Mom wanted to see how it was going (Hi Mom). I talked with her this morning about it as I have finished the walls in the main room (there is also a little room that will be for stock that has to be painted too).

I started the trim today and was a little shocked by the paint as it is like pudding it is so thick. I also was unsure of the color - but the more I look at it with a sample of the floor paint (yes - painting the subfloor) I think it all may come together rather well.

Long winded and no pet photos today. Had a bad health night last night and the sum total of my energy today goes to sitting on the floor painting trim and talking with clients.
