Last rights (whites) of Summer, this pretty flower, Centaurea montana 'Alba' from the family of the cornflower, is hanging on to the bitter cold end. And it sure is getting bitterly cold!

Charles was around today, but never long enough for a photograph. Hopefully I'll catch up with him tomorrow :) xx
