Belhaven Blue

Dunbar, West Barns and Doon Hill looking south from the far end of Belhaven beach. After a day working from home on the phone, I got out for a long walk. The wind was blowing rainclouds in from the west so this is the last of the bright sky and it was very overcast and dark when I got home at 6.4opm. Our days are shorter than 12 hours already and there was talk of frost at work yesterday.

Katie (5 next week) started reading today, playing with flash cards that the boys never took to. Then Gordon (6) got the "Snap in French" cards and read the whole lot, "ooh la la" accent and everything. Great fun.

It's been a very short week with the London trip in the middle so this weekend seems almost like cheating.
