Brooklyn baby

After getting the red eye over night from LAX to JFK I had an two day/ one night stop with my girlfriend who happened to be in New York at the same time. It was really nice to see her after dashing about all week. It has been fun to visit different places but it has been exhausting. We stayed in this lovely first floor appartment in Brooklyn. The walk up steps remind me of all the movies you see of historic new york with people hanging on the steps.
We went for an fantastic meal with her friends in Williamsburg and then got stuck into the local beers. The New York bar scene is lots of fun.
