Prepare for bird warfare

A 3 hour drive to Gayndah today.

Road kill encountered:
4 unknown marsupials
2 brown snakes
2 kangaroos
1 monitor lizard that took up a whole lane width
My contribution to this tally was nothing.....

Tomorrow I am going to do my first triathlon, and my cousin's daughter E has prepared her bike helmet for the occasion to try and scare off any magpies or plovers that might try and attack. Not sure how the stuck on "eyeballs" will fare on the 5km ride she has to do tomorrow but this "adult" participant is hoping the birds leave me well alone.
