Scabious

This lovely scabious just keeps flowering in the new bee and butterfly friendly border that I planted earlier in the year. This pink one was looking beautifully shiny and bright in the sun this morning. There were still a few foraging bees around too.

Washing out on the line. Vat of vegetable soup made for lunch and the base of our shepherdess pie (veggie shepherd's pie) made for this evening's meal. Now to tackle the ironing in a rare day of domesticity.
