Red Leaves, Damp Knees

My neighbour's front lawn was covered in these leaves today. I whipped out my camera and started snapping, kneeling down to get the right angle. Unfortunately, our front gardens are in constant shade and consequently, almost always damp.

I gathered together a fistful of the leaves and came indoors to photograph them against some different backgrounds. This is the one I liked best.

And I changed my trousers.
