Light in the wood

Took the kids up to the Green Lochan from Glenmore lodge in the Cairngorms We had a wee bit of snow a lot of cold and a heap of running about. Lunched at Ryvoan both and headed back via the high path. Looking through the plantations there was the odd silver birch in their autumn colours looking like bright fires in the monoculture. Every fantasy reading and prog rock listening bone in my body knew there was a unicorn in there as well.
