See what I did there?....
We had a fantastic walk today. It's one of our favourite walks and I haven't done it for a while. We started at Clapham and went up Ingleborough, down to the Norber Erratics and back to Clapham. Even though some of it is one the Three peaks path its always quiet even on a sunny day like today. It's about 13 miles so enough for that drug I spoke of last weekend to kick in.
I was climbing Little Ingleborough and the people coming down were wearing hats, gloves and coats. I was a bit concerned. I was in a shirt! I discovered that the wind up there was roar! Brrrrrr luckily I'm always prepared and my hat and gloves were buried in my bag. Never underestimate altitude. Every 100m of ascent = 1 degree drop in temperature.
My blip is of Barney (obviously) looking over towards Ingleborough where we had just come from.
Can someone please invent dog friendly stiles. Poor barney isn't the bravest of dogs and although he is as springy as anything and could jump them I always have to lift him up.
Clapham is such a nice and unspoilt village. I don't understand why it's always so quiet!
In other news when I was driving back I saw the new shop on The Grove.....it looks awful! I give it a month
And that's today's one through the looking glass
