Ready for action

We have some friends coming over tomorrow so today we prepared for a conker competition with them. The health and safety regulations circulated to schools try to encourage kids to wear gloves and goggles to play these days. I think we will be doing it old school and living on the edge.

Earlier, Joe and I went to watch the local football team in action in the junior league. It's the first time I've ever seen an assistant referee eating a pie while he ran the line. Who says men can't multi-task?
