Little lochan and the Black Isle

Managed to get a whole load of friends together to climb up to the Fyrish monument above Alness. It was a fantastic dayand we all had great fun trying to fly John's powerkite. I caught a nasty gust and carved a 4 foot skid-mark in the ground with my heels though, so quickly handed over to somebody else.

The photo is the view over a wee lochan three quarters of the way up. I loved the fact that there were two bodies of water miles apart, both reflecting the beautiful blue sky. :)
