At last!

After 9 months of lessons, and a lot of persuasion, M has been given the go-ahead to spend his 2 years of saved birthday and Christmas money on a starter electronic drum kit. Fitting it into his tiny bedroom was the next problem. And tomorrow it'll be reassuring the upstairs neighbours that he'll have a curfew as even this kind of kit produces a fair amount of noise.
