Face Mask

When I woke up this morning and looked in the mirror I suspected I had visited one too many pubs during our holiday in the Oxford area! Was I really looking like this or was I in the middle of a nightmare?

OK during a visit to Oxford with Ewan and Suzi today we visited the Natural History Museum, which was really good. I was going to blip the Ghost Forest on the outside of the museum, which has massive tree roots from Africa on plinths to highlight the impact of deforestation on the world. Instead, I decided on this Japanese face mask of a bandit which, although not highlighting any great global issue, looked quite scary!

Oxford is lovely and everything we expected of a great university city. Whether it was the students graduating in their gowns, the rowing teams on the Thames or the Willow trees weeping over the limestone brooks it was simply beautiful. Made even better by spending some time with son and his girlfriend. A great day out!
