Hanging around

We had a great time at Jacks Halloween party today. All the kids looked so cute in their costumes, and so many special Halloween treats were offered: English Muffin pizzas that were made to look like mummies, string cheese sticks made to look like fingers (complete with a bit of green pepper as a fingernail and cuts in the cheese for the wrinkles at the joints!) and latex gloves with candy corn in the fingers and popcorn in the palm!

Afterwards, we headed over to a park to play at the playground for a few minutes and to feed the ducks and squirrels. This furry guy wasn't afraid of us at all. He came right over to us after a few minutes, just about a foot away, to eat!
