Introduction to Malasadas

Started noticing this 'new' word yesterday. What were they? Answered in person at one of the Waimea/Kamuela Farmers' Markets this morning. De-lish with strong Kona coffee and topped off at another booth with Kalua pork omelets, fresh salsa, and fried rice.
