The Lighthouse, Galle Fort, Sri Lanka

Away from the National Parks, we dropped south again to visit the lighthouse on Dondra Head (Sri Lanka's southern most point - if you look south from here the next bit of land is Antarctica), and to Galle (yet another UNESCO WH site!).

Our evening walk (as with pretty much everyone else in Galle) was around the walls of the Old Fort complete with it's own British-built lighthouse dating from 1938.
