Talking about Kevin

Just been to see the film We Need to Talk about Kevin. Been waiting for its release ever since we heard they were making a film. Lionel Shriver's book is one of my all time favourites.

Well the film does not disappoint and although naturally there are aspects that are more emphasised and those that are less emphasised compared the book,especially re nature vs nurture, I think this is a stunning piece of film making. I'd say half the audience at the Greenwich Picture house sat in stunned silence as the credits went up. Amazing and definitely deserves an Oscar or 10.
