Red Letter Box View
A snapshot of a moment in the day. A famous racing car, folks admiring it, some in need of rest and some working out how to read the map. A scene probably repeated most days.
For a different scene see my blip from the same day a year ago of a huge grizzly bear that appeared in front of me as I was half way over a wooden bridge. The subsequent series of photos of the episode would have shown the bear glowering at me then turning its back and shaking off some water and toddling off down the path. I waited motionless for a short while then retreated quietly in the opposite direction. It was a bit nerve wracking at the time but I wouldn't have swapped the experience for anything and it will live in my memory - assisted by my photos - for life.
