I didn't go out today, stayed inside in the warm instead.

It was from inside the house that I took this picture of one of our resident Goldfinches. Sorry for the poor shot but I have been far too cold to go out today. We have a family of 8 in our garden and they spent most of today tweet tweeting away and flying about from feeder to feeder.

They are such beautiful colourful birds and today they helped brighten up my very dreary garden.
