This is the wardrobe ....

- that #1 son made and now it's being dismantled. Even as a supportive mother I have to say that he didn't do a great job so I'm not sad to see it go, before it fell down.

Busy day - awake early (wishing last night had been more abstemious), then to church to sing and home to dismantle the wardrobe and a bed. I struggled with the wardrobe.

Some things go and some things come and I now have a chandelier-y type light fitting for the living room, courtesy of Gumtree.

Tried to fix dad's printer and failed. Think it's the wi-fi that's at fault.

Funny evening. Z, my lovely neighbour, supplied tea (or supper as someone would say), inc some wine - left overs from his 31st birthday party last night.

Tried to talk to the family today - could hear #1 son, but he couldn't hear me and he hung up, no sign of #son (I'd hoped he'd come and help) but did manage a catch up with #3 son., who says he's getting on ok in Aberystwyth. And I finally talked to the Other One. Not sure if it was a success or not. Resisting, resisting. I can say it all on the 5th, can't I?

I am very, very tired - all that gardening and walking yesterday and waking up early the last 3 days. Karen (the minister) told us NZ (just) won the World Cup - wasn't that inevitable?

But I'm looking forward to a really bliptastic week with my blip chums. Coffee with Mylo and then Chamberlainjohn, lunch with Dotty and to end the week, the Filmhouse with just Allan. All I have to do is bump into Lady Findhorn having a sneaky bun at Peter's Yard and I'd a full house.

Today is 299, so tomorrow is 300 - think I'll play it 'low key'.
