At last ......

We had another super five hour journey today from Lancashire to Berkshire and it just became warmer and warmer. The roads were busy but the lanes going north were often stationary so I was going in the correct direction. Both Cara and Bruce were exceptionally good and just before I arrived at my daughter's I let them out for a long walk. They almost exploded with enthusiasm as they jumped out of the car and then had a fabulous time investigating all the new smells in the woods. The boys were thrilled to see us and we all went out for a delicious Indian meal - minus two tired dogs of course. The boys are now sound asleep and we are catching up on Strictly ... with some wine
