The Graveyard Barn

No tobacco this year. The whole crop was lost due to heavy rains.

The farmers who usually rent this barn must be frustrated! It normally holds an extremely valuable harvest, which is sold as wrappers for cigars. The income supports the family for a year or more.

Now it's just full of hay for goats.

BTW: To all of you who helped me choose my entries for the land preservation photo contest, a big thanks. I won second prize for "Misty Moisty Morning" - and it encouraged me to enter yet another competition, this one in New York City. I'll let you know how that goes. xo
