SEAT OF LEARNING
The Blue Plaque states the following:-
"Tower Court. Designed in the Gothic style by Thomas Healey as a National School, it opened in 1872. This became All Saints' C of E Primary School. The school relocated in 2002. The building was converted to town houses in 2004."
I haven't found out much more than is written above whilst looking for some history, Thomas Healey worked out of Bradford & he & his Brother took over the firm from their father in about 1868, Healey senior designed St Pauls Church in Manningham & is laid to rest outside the chapel door.
The building reminds me of a primary school I attended in Richmond back in the 60's, thats been converted into apartments too but the nissan hut in the corner of the playground, where I stole my first kiss (bless you Grace Darling, yes her name was Grace Darling) still stands.
