Glowing Tree

I saw these trees when I went to our mall the other day. There are about 5 trees that are fairly new, planted along the strip between the sidewalk and the busy street. This year, as they are now bigger, more mature trees, I really noticed how beautiful they were with their fall color. These trees look like they are glowing. It has such a gorgeous translucent quality to the color of the leaves. I am tree challenged as I have no idea what they are. Anybody?

Went shopping and I think I need to make some cookies. Usual Sunday stuff, nothing exciting going on, which is often a good thing.
