End of the season

Popped down to the river to check on the boat towards the end of the day. Its a very different place down at Tuckton at the end of the season. Gone are the holiday makers picniking by the river and the boats are gradually disappearing to their winter moorings or being covered up - must take ours out soon and that will occupy next weekend no doubt.

The trees have not yet got their autumn colour - it's been too mild and I thought these looked very stately with the last of the light coming through their tops.
