Making the Most of It

Weather bright and sunny, but the trees have an end-of-season look.

Went to see Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead this evening - performed by the Footlight Club in Jamaica Plain (America's oldest community theatre - it's hard to say "Footlight Club" without adding that bit). Now this is one of my favorite plays, but my play-going buddy J. was so perplexed that he left at the interval!

Another (American) friend said that he thought you had to be English to enjoy that play. Hmm.

Dinner at Anchovies - haven't been there since a visit to Boston long, long ago. I don't think it's changed a bit.
