Loss

Today was a day of many feelings of loss. At church I felt the loss of my motherhood, my young children, my service at church with young children. A very good friend cried as she expressed her feelings of loss over her business. There were changes at church that brought many feelings of loss, especially as there is much of the unknown still ahead. My husband is trying to deal with the loss of his mother, which brings so many different feelings. I can see that loss is a part of life. Working through the grieving takes time and insight.

So, this shot of the sunset represents the loss of this day, but also heralds the new one that is coming tomorrow. I'm so glad for tomorrows.
