Asian snacks from Flushing!

Flushing after three months of deprivation means eating even more than usual. So apart from the usual feast of all my favorite foods, I made a stop at Hong Kong Supermarket. While I was picking up spicy Shin Ramen, dried Chinese bayberries, and seaweed for myself, I called up some friends and asked whether they wanted me to get them anything. As I was walking around the store with this armful of food--most of which was not for me--an old man eyed all the snacks I was carrying, presumably thinking I was planning on eating it all, and laughed. I gave him a neutral-faced stare for judging me.
