one of those days when - sat in a roomful of people i didn't know for an all-day meeting - i wasn't sure whether i made simply dazzling contributions worthwhile for all to hear or whether i just burbled on a bit too much.

crossed the muddy thames to eat by the river. our trip to the old vic involved the unparalleled excitement of spotting riversong for dr who (for P who is a massive fan) and dominic west (one for us ladies and fans of the wire) though there was a hint of the old etonian about him. hard to define what that is but it's just there. i think it's the way they occupy space somehow.
