Enjoyed an extension to the weekend on a day off today just catching up with odd jobs. On the way to get the shopping i called in at my favourite place for a wander round the lake and a breath of fresh air. It never fails to disappoint whatever the weather and its possibly the place i feel closest to my old dog who used to enjoy a swim here. Good old Lucy. Then home to start the 3 day soaking of a load of currants, sultana's and raisins in sherry for the first Christmas cake i'm planning to bake at the weekend. :-)
