Lights

This is the first of a number of images I'm going to post five minutes from where I live, to assist me I'm going to include walking, cycling, running (I'm starting again tomorrow after eight months off) and in the car.

Today's is the Old Sandy Lane, I used to run along here quite a lot when I was a bit younger, it's part of the old road and there's a slightly newer better road, You can just make out the light trails two thirds or the way into the blip.

Today I attended a Pensions briefing to see just how much money t he Government is going to rob from us, it's depressing really but I have to try and maintain a solid front, being the Union rep. I can't believe that the Government are using the public sector to pay for the mistakes of the banking industry. I have worked in the Public Sector all of my working life and I'm worse off now than I have ever been. I really believe that I will have to sell my house to try and maintain the lifestyle I have, my youngest son has University to go to and I have to find money I don't have for him to go.

I finally managed to catch up on all of the journals I subscribe to, I think ! most of you will have between five and seven comments, I really ought to be more organised.

Tomorrow my fitness campaign starts, I have put a lot of weight on and don't mind saying that I am over sixteen stone (96 kgs) I was always a lot less but the combination of shiftwork and can't be arsed to do anything about it has led to my current state. It's about time I did something, I had to share this as my way of doing something about it, meanwhile tonight is one last blow out !!

I'm gonna get pissed !
