Bocce ball

Here are my mother and the kids playing bocce under the grape arbour at our agriturismo.

We went to Città della Pieve today, another umbrian hill town and the birthplace of Il Perugino. We visited the churches with paintings by him and especially liked the Adoration of the Magi. We had nice pizza for lunch there in a very pretty spot. We thought we picked a town that would be relatively easy to get to but the kids still had a little car sickness on the winding roads...
