Makin' Movies : V - Carnage

Carnage on the streets. Bomb exploded and the wounded are being led away to safety.

Serious stuff...........except that its one of a series of photographs we took of the filming of the television series V. This was being shot on location in Vancouver. We had some great views of the action. It was quite amazing to see how they film these science fiction action movies. Being a movie fan Mrs S spotted the 'baddie' who detonated the explosion which brought down the building. She spied him in amongst the crowd of extras and we got some good action shots of him triggering the detonation by radio-remote and the crowd then running for cover.

Exciting stuff on holiday and a great addition to our short stay in Vancouver en route home to Scotland after our wonderful time in grizzly bear territory.
