This building across the road from our hotel fascinated me, the peeling paint work and you might not see it but a big piece of masonary has fallen from the top of the roof and is sitting precariously at the edge of the lower canopy.

As you walk past it, there is a high perimeter wall and next to it is a large patch of what looks like waste ground where lots of green parrots used to meet every morning and make a lot of noise! I was therefore very surprised when I found out this building is part of a hospital! And from our balcony on the 9th floor you could see the rest of the complex which looks a lot more modern. This building and the identical one to the other part of the complex always looked closed so presumably everything had moved to the newer buildings.
