Autumn loving.

backblip :/

First day of half term today. Could not have been more needed as far as i'm concerned, really need a break. And a big chance to catch up with my work otherwise i'm close to failing.

But I decided to start the 'holiday' with the weekend off so as to relax ready to start working hard in the week. And I started this with a beast of a lie-in. Apon waking up, I got dressed quickly so as to go out with Mum, Dad and Bridget, and Lydia when she had finally decided to come! We were going to try out some comfy chairs in Bognor, cause dad wants to replace our 'swively' chair because it doesn't support his neck enough or something.

Anyways by the time we left it was quite late so we went for a lunchtime meal at the Gribble Inn in Oving first. And it was really nice, such a lovely atmosphere. It was all rustic, and old and cosy with a fire going. And I had some lovely pea soup. After this though, we went to go and have a look at the chairs, and then came home again.

When we got home, we found out that harriet was quite ill again. She's one of our ex-battery chickens. She has never really fully recovered it seems, and she has these funny phases every now and again where she goes very quiet, stays quite still and just looks quite lifeless. Her comb is all floppy and purple too which is a bad sign. However it seemed to be a bit worse this time, she was barely moving at all. It'll be a bit suprising if she makes it through the night, she's really not in a good state.

I had a concert this evening too which went really well. It was the 30th Anniversary of the Arun Young Musicians, run by the Rotary club. It's such a great competition/festival style thing. Everyone who runs it is so lovely, and i've made some great friends and performed in some lovely concerts. Tonight being no exception. The pieces went really well and everyone seemed to enjoy it, myself included. Another one tomorrow almost identical so no time to rest yet! Oh almost forgot, took this photo in the Gribble Inn at lunch. Such a lovely place, i'm thinking about hiring out their skittle alley for my eighteenth this year. It's a possibility anyways
