Here is my find today in my lettering and topography quest near the Tidewater Community College | Visual Arts Center | 340 High Street.

This is an excellent example of a decorative typeface.

This gold-colored typeface logo is on all material for this restaurant; menu, door, napkins, building, etc. The Lobscouser logo looks a little better on the menu and door because the letters are closer together (tighter kerning), than it does on the facade where the letters have been spaced further apart, a good bit too far imho, no doubt to create a larger presence on the wall and to fill the space.

Still it is one of the best dining establishments on the street offering reasonably-priced and tasty dinner specials. Plus in the Autumn you can get a good cup of cream tea and pumpkin cheese cake topped with caramel and roasted almonds ~ yum!
