THE REAL DEAL !!

Wonderful Christchurch day today, biking down from school to the parade, in 10 minutes, and locking bikes to a tree in the park, walked to the side of the road to watch our "Mighty All Blacks" come passed with the trophy. As we got there reasonably early we were able to get right in the middle of the road at the start and the players were very relaxed and going slow so we got high 5s and were able to talk to them all the way along. Such a boost for a city under seige and so much simple fun.
This is a photo of one of the coaches. I have some amazing portrait quality ones of individual players but in the end the blip of the day has to be the trophy itself! Particularly because you can read the writing in this photo if you view in large.
I must say a gold trophy is something else. You can see why pirates were keen on it!
