In my garden

These chives are growing, along with parsley, in a wine barrel also containing a lime tree. The barrel is next to the house so sheltered and somehow they survived the the winter and are now growing strongly. Good for the summer salads and other dishes like mushroom with pasta etc!

I wasn't sure if the lime would grow in this climate but so far so good.

Mum didn't come home today, but will do so tomorrow. I am going to go and stay with her for a few days.

Grey old day but now the sun is out.
