O Pai Tirano, Lisbon
The Jarvis enjoys foreign cinema, often more so than English-language cinema. So when he finds himself in a bar dedicated to Portugal's cinematic history - but no less dedicated to good music and convivial drinking - it's bound to be a good one. O Pai Tirano (The Tyrannical Father) is named after the 1941 film and keeps Jarvis hours - 2200-0430. It's difficult to find in the Bico district just down from the Bairro Alto, but well worth the effort.
