FROM THE BRIDGE OVER THE WESER RIVER
I see this morning the coloured trees on the hill southward. At seven o'clock a.m. the sky is still blue and pink, some hours later the wind blows the clouds to cover it.
By then I have alredy enjoyed the colours in the forest and going down hill I feel again home again. How strange it seems being in The Hague I never think about Karlshafen and being here I forget about the sea in Holland. Of course we keep in touch with Mischa, who will come and join us for some days next week. We will be able then to go places and to make photos together. Now I am again on my own.
My haiku, inspired by the oak in our garden:
You are my friend tree
Rooted in the rocks so strong
Tell me your secret
And the greek proverb:
No one knows better than I where my shoe pinches.
