Laululava

Today I decided to test my bicycle in Joensuu before it's too late for this year and took a short trip in the town center.

This is Laululava (literally translated: singing stage) in Joensuu. Every spring, just before the schools close for the summer, thousands of elementary school kids from Joensuu and nearby area gather here to sing for their parents and other audience. The area also functions as the location for the annual Ilosaarirock festival. The roof structures are often covered during an event, as seen in the link.
