Chaos and Calm

Meh

In a mood. Thought some pretty flowers might help...
They helped bring on the hayfever symptoms. Which helped kill my mood more...
Yeah... That didn't help.

I'm glad I've got a hectic 11 days ahead of me. I don't have to deal with people. I can actually say, clear of conscience, that I am busy. Errands and appointments all day tomorrow and Thursday. Photographer duty Thursday night. Dropping Master Four Year Old off with his father on Friday and spending some time with the not-quite in-laws, then doing a gig (eep). Photographer duty for two bands (thankfully at the same festival) on Saturday. Photographer duty at a Breast Cancer fundraiser concert Sunday at noon, then photographer duty at an invite only gig over the other side of Melbourne. Photographer duty at a gig on Monday night (I have to bloody dress up Halloween-y, I've been told. Ideas?). Photographer duty at The Melbourne Cup on Tuesday, then photographer duty at a gig that night. Two days off. Photographer duty at a gig on the Friday. Photographer (supportive girlfriend/family/friend) duty at a festival hours away on the 5th, then rushing back home for another photo duty gig over the other side of Melbourne that night.
I'll be exhausted. Very little sleep, and still needing to find time for mother duty, and dealing with errands and appointments in between.
But, all that mad-woman running around I will be doing will save me from idiots. I'm quite close to telling a lot of people to politely sod the hell off. I'm a little over being told to "get over" whatever my problems are... Uhh, if I could I damn well would. I even got blasted for being 'insensitive' for my post yesterday by a few people...

The only useless advice I've been given today that hasn't made me want to hurt someone, was from the not-quite brother-in-law. It made me laugh. "God, woman... You just need a holiday. Or to get laid. Either or... Maybe both. Get rid of some of that tension. I don't want to see photos."
Sadly, useless as that advice is (busy schedule, wounded boyfriend), he is actually probably right.
Meh.

"This is fate. This is your escape.
Leave here now. Leave here like it's over.
Let's sleep together right now.
Relieve the pressure, somehow.
Switch off the future, right now.
Let's leave forever."
