Cubism

Day 25 of woollyhedge's October On This Day Challenge is honour of the birth of Picasso in 1881.

The new(ish), and still under construction, eco-friendly housing development around the corner appears to have been designed along Cubist lines. It seems to divide opinion amongst locals; I have to say I rather like the austere lines and unusual sculptures scattered around the estate.

It was tipping down with rain and very dusky by the time I got out with the camera this afternoon, so I felt black and white rather suited the mood, though I'm not sure Picasso would approve!
