River Ouse
Honeybee & I went to Lewes today & ended up having a Picnic by the River Ouse, smelling the sweet smell of Hops in the air, because there is a Brewery nearby :o)
The River Ouse flows through East Sussex in southern England. The river source is in Lower Beeding. It then flows through Lewes on the way through the South Downs entering the English Channel at Newhaven.
The author Virginia Woolf drowned herself in the River Ouse on March 28, 1941, near the village of Rodmell. A walking path runs along the edge of the River Ouse from Rodmell to Lewes.
We have visited Virginia Woolf's home in Rodmell & it is very pretty
