Scary?

I know, I know - it isn't time yet, but we had the annual student pumpkin-carving competition at work today and this is the one that got my vote.

I have been tempted in the past to take in a 'proper' neep lantren carved out of a turnip (dark purple with yellow flesh, known by some as a tumshie or a swede or maybe even rutabaga? Here in Edinburgh a 'swede' is the smaller white root veg with a purple top). I'll stop right now - this way madness lies.
