The maternity hospital at the top of the big hill

This, I think, is one of the entrances to the Rottenrow maternity hospital. For some reason, they sited at the top of one of the steepest hills in Glasgow. Cue very pregnant ladies with blood pressure going through the roof....

I like the colour of the stone, and the fact that you can glimpse the city chambers dome through the arch.

Apologies for the lack of commentary of late, just not enough hours to go round. Me, I'm off to vacuum shrink some bed linen in storage bags. It's all glamour, being me :o)
