The singing ringing tree HoliDay 1
Our day after a shortish night started at about 5:20am when alarms went off, showers were had and excited girls appeared, bouncing full of the joys of the day ahead. The taxi, driven by a very amiable Indian man from Goa, took a route I would have taken, so much better than one of the last times, when we were taken through the slowest roads of Edinburgh.
Our flight was quite long, over four hours and the number one son was not always really enjoying the restrictive reality that is a cheap flight. He was patient and he managed to watch some life saving entertainment courtesy of a mobile phone and the iPlayer. Thankfully we have two very patient daughters.
We eventually landed, all set for another long bus journey. Thankfully #1son didn't really know this, otherwise it would have been arching back city, maybe we should have called him Archie after all. He eventually slept in my arms, oh yes, there is no one but Daddy Dads. SO on our arrival what is this, rain at the airport. It was quite bright when we left Edinburgh.
Finally in to the hotel having taken in quite alot of very green countryside and some sheer hillsides, they must have some mega mudslides. Hotel looked nice, our first meal went ok, people extremely friendly. Only hiccup, our room appeared to be right above the evenings entertainment.
