Rush for kick off

Nice to have a week in Sheffield work-wise and I was back into the midweek Blades match routine. On time away from work, quick tea, bath the kids and leave just after 7 - just before bedtime stories (a night off from my usual job).

I drove down on the back of a torrential thunderstorm, thankfully it stopped for my walk to the ground. I arrived just before kick-off, always on the last push as my Dad would say!

A worthwhile night out with a 2-1 win over the team I will call Franchise FC. Up to 4th, a point behind the other lot who lost away. A midweek Sheffield Double.
