The Pumpkin Patch with Great Grandkids

Today the Pumpkin Patch was reserved for all the children that are homeschooled and belong to the Co-op. Grandma, Great Grandma and Aunt Janet went out with Hayden 10, Brogan 7 and Matthew 4. The children got to go through a grass maze to try and find the treasure at the end. Then on a hayride around the Pumpkin Patch. They also had an air gun with pumpkins scattered around to shoot at. They walked through the Pumpkin Patch and got a lesson on how long it takes to have a full grown pumpkin. They each left for home with their very own pumpkin. A young couple with four boys run the ranch and have the Pumpkin Patch open for everyone on weekends and school children during the week for the month of October. I think they have as much fun as the children do. There was also a petting zoo. Coming in there was a large fenced area with many free range chickens. A wonderful time was had by all.
